Kome Cave dwellings

Kome Caves were found in 1824 by Chief Teleka Kome. He was coming from Transky in Matatiele running away from the Lifaqane war that took place in Southern Africa. The Cave was used as a hideout from Lifaqane war and the cannibals from Malimong.

MALIMONG CAVE

Malimong Cave is affectionately known for being the home of Rakotsoana. Famously known as the fastest cannibal of his generation, Rakotsoana was the leader of his tribe.

Arrangements:

The bus leaves the hotel premises at 09:00 AM to Malimong Cave. There will be a quiz in the bus along the journey to Malimong. The guests and the tour guide will take an excursion to the Cave where the history of this mysterious Cave will be narrated. Shortly thereafter, a hiking from Malimong to Kome Caves will take place.
